The Antarctic is the world’s last great travel frontier. It’s a frozen fantasyland of glaciers, icebergs and extraordinary wildlife – whales, seals, penguins and a myriad of birds. The White Continent allows you to walk on glaciers, visit sites associated with early explorers, and experience the sensory overload of encounters with penguin and seal colonies and pods of whales. You may even have the chance to dive in the stunningly clear waters. This is an experience for those with a sense of adventure and a desire to live life to the full.

As you can see we can offer you several cruise options according to your dates & budget. Please note that Antarctic Cruises are only available only from November to March.

Mr & Mrs Fielding - Nov 2012

Hi Pip, Thank you so much for the time and effort you put into organising our trip to South America and Antarctica.  Garry and I are slowly settling in after our big adventure. I know at times I was a bit pedantic with my requests and queries but you came through with flying colours for us.  Our trip was amazing and everything ran smoothly.  The worst that happened with all our flights and transfers was a 30 minute delay on the flight from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia. The transfers and guides were excellent and the Treasures of South America tour was very well put together - special mention must be made of Condor Travel (Peru Office) as they were very very good.  Needless to say the Antarctic cruise was simply amazing. I have fallen in love with South America and I am advising everyone that no matter how good my photos of Antarctica are and no matter how much I tell them about it, I cannot do it justice - Antarctica has to be experienced. Aurora Expeditions, in particular the Polar Pioneer, were great - very professional, great expedition team, brilliantly run trip.  Being on a small ship was a definite advantage. Once again, thank you so much for your expertise and patience. Cheers

Carol & Alan Baiton - Oct 2011

Dear Heather, Ted and Ines, Just a little note to express our appreciation for all the work you did on our behalf to ensure that our trip was the very best it could be. Everything gelled together in a most professional manner and I felt safe and secure in transfers arriving on time and in the right place and that I would be staying in the best hotels close to town and with the best facilities. We could not have had a better tour leader than Jane Bell whose personal touch and manner with all our party was exemplary. With Jane and Jonathan’s help I climbed Ollayantambo and reached a dream to make the sun gate at Macchu Picchu. Not bad for an old girl with Bypass surgery. Iguassu will live in our souls forever. I have never felt the emotional strength that issues from the Devil’s Throat anywhere in the world. How do you describe Antarctica? It has to be experienced. I think everyone should be so lucky as to have that experience. Quark are superb and the professionals who provide the lectures and information are all leaders in their own fields – a Polish Base commander, a PhD in Glaciers, a PhD in ornithology – amazing. We had 9 landings in Antarctica and Alan and I have now placed a foot on every continent in the world. Masterful Management with care and confidence is my description of Contours.  Well done and thank you. Carol and Alan Baiton Oct 2011
